Cosplay Guests

Cosplay (コスプレ kosupure), a contraction of the words costume play, is a performance art in which participants called cosplayers wear self-made costumes and fashion accessories to represent a specific character. Cosplayers often interact to create a subculture, and a broader use of the term “cosplay” applies to any costumed role-playing in venues apart from the stage. Any entity that lends itself to dramatic interpretation may be taken up as a subject and it is not unusual to see genders switched. Favorite sources include anime, cartoons, comic books, live-action films, television series and video games. – Wiki

What a great definition, but a few things were forgotten. Cosplay is about becoming someone you are not, or someone (thing) that you want to be, or even acting out those you idolize. It can truly be an art form. Some people cosplay by buying their costume. Others create them on a budget. And others, like those listed below are professionals and people come from all over the world to see them act out their characters.
